VW Releases New Photos of Golf R

The Golf R has been around since Frankfurt, but Volkswagen just released a new package of photos of the hatch in action. The photos were part of the international driving presentation in Ellmau, Austria.
The top-end Golf is powered by a 270 hp 2.0-liter turbo engine complemented by all-wheel drive. The Golf R is capable of a 5.7-second 0 to 62 with manual gearbox. VW’s DSG dual-clutch transmission shaves 0.2 seconds off that time. Top speed is 155 mph.
