Video: Tuned Lambo Gallardo Superleggera by Underground Racing Exceeds 250 MPH

The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is now one of the fastest cars in the world, at least in a tuned form. Underground Racing recently clocked a speed of 250.1 MPH in the Superleggera, which was outfitted with the tuner’s twin-turbo kit. Driver Richard Holt destroyed the Gallardo Superleggera’s stock top speed of 202 mph at the Texas Mile last month. What could be better than witnessing that first-hand set to some intermittent Rob Zombie on a dreadfully slow Monday afternoon? Jump the break for it.
In case you were wondering, the world’s fastest production car is the Shelby Supercars Ultimate Aero, which boasts a top speed of 257 mph, topping the former champ, the Bugatti Veyron, by 4 mph. [via WCF]
