Toyota Prius Recall Is Likely

Well, you knew it was coming and it doesn’t seem that Toyota will disappoint. Japan’s Nikkei News Service reported last night that Toyota will indeed recall the 2010 Prius for the braking problem that have been getting more and more publicity of late. According to the report, 270,000 American and Japanese Priuses will be included in the recall, adding to Toyota’s already staggering recall numbers.
Only the 2010 model will be affected and the recall will be voluntary. MSNBC reported that Toyota still didn’t have a definitive answer to whether or not the Prius would be recalled stating it was too soon to tell. The Japanese government has not yet received notice of a recall.
