Touring Superleggera Bentley Flying Star by Touring Debuts
By Chris Weiss
The brand-new Bentley Continental Flying Star brings our mind to a certain place–perhaps, cruising to a luxury hotel with a hatch full of scuba and windsurfing gear to share an evening with an international supermodel. Yes, it is overflowing with style and class.
Italian firm Touring Superleggera presented the shooting brake today at Geneva. The car was crafted at the behest of a nameless but distinguished customer that Touring calls “an avid and passionate collector, with a taste for special coach building”.
It is powered by the Continental GTC’s 6.0-liter W12 engine worth 560 hp. The Flying Star hits 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and reaches its limits a tad over 200 mph.
Touring Superleggera plans to sell just 20 examples at a base of € 590,000 (app. $800,000). [Zercustoms via RideLust]
