Tokyo Preview: Supasse V Sports Coupe

A little Lotus Exige on the outside and a little Mazda on the inside, the Supasse V sports coupe from Japanese kit car maker Suzusho is making its way to the Tokyo Motor Show. The car provides a welcome break from some of the funky hybrids and utility vans that have so far been dominating pre-show coverage. The Supasse V features a Mazda 2.3-liter turbocharged engine providing 272 horsepower. Combine that engine with its low weight of just 1,873 pounds and the Supasse V should make for an exhilerating stint on pavement. The stylish, tiny sports car is set to go on sale in mid-2010.
