The Cloth is Off: Nissan Juke Revealed
By Chris Weiss
Formerly just a silhouette hiding in the shadows, Nissan has revealed its Juke CUV before its eventual world debut in Geneva. The new B-segment pulls influence from the Qazana concept shown at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Nissan calls it “part SUV, part sports car” and indeed it looks to be a more dynamic breed of crossover. Nissan explains that the Juke features the legs of an SUV–broad stance, large wheels and high ground clearance–and the body of a toned athlete, with high waistline and coupe-like falling roofline.
The Juke will receive a trio of European engine options, including a 187 hp turbo direct-injected 1.6-liter four, a 113 hp HR16DE 1.6-liter and a 110 hp 1.5-liter dCi diesel. The Juke will be offered in both all-wheel and front-wheel drive configurations.
The Juke will be coming to the U.S. later this year. Decide if its for you with some more snapshots below. [via AutoBlog]
