Understandably, many Porsche fans weren’t too keen on the idea of a four-door. And now that the Panamera is an inescapable reality, you either love it or hate. Luckily for Porsche, some of the voices that matter most are loving it. The latest voice is Bloomberg, which named the Panamera its first-ever Car of the Year.
Motor Authority has designed some renderings of what they believe will be an upcoming Porsche offering–the Panamera Cabrio. According to their piece, Porsche head of R&D Wolfgang Dürheimer has intimated that some new Panamera varieties are in the Porsche pipeline. The Panamera Cabrio will lose the rear doors to increase rigidity while keeping the rear seats in tact. It’s expected to get a soft top rather than a retractable hard top. The article also predicts an upcoming Panamera GT Coupe, also with two doors to join hybrid, V6 and diesel versions already on the way.
