Three more pictures. That’s today’s bounty. We now have a much better look at the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 thanks to a profile and angled front-end picture that originated on Jalopnik yesterday. We see the masterful balance of big curves and sharp lines that Lamborghini combined to make an absolutely stunning flagship. The pictures appear to be out of the same magazine as the first leaked picture from earlier this week.
All we need now is a photo of the rear. Take a good hard look and decide for yourself if it’s not the next logical step forward from the Countach, Diablo and Murcielago. [via Jalopnik]

With just three more weeks to go before Geneva, Lamborghini has released a teaser picture of a camoed-up Aventador. The picture doesn’t give us anything that spy photos haven’t, but it’s certainly a good look at the overall shape of the new top Bull. We expect to see a few more official teasers from Lambo over the next few weeks.
Recap: The Aventador LP700-4 will carry 691 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque in an all-new 6.5-liter V12 engine. It’s expected to hit 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and top out at 217 mph.

It seemed to take a lifetime, but Lamborghini has officially debuted the Aventador LP700-4, offering an array of interior and exterior pictures. Not much has changed from all of the unofficial hype, but Lamborghini did state that Aventador deliveries will begin in late summer and the starting price will be $379,700. It will come in 13 colors and options will include a premium sound system and back-up camera.
We’ve been covering Aventador news so regularly that we won’t bore you with rehashed details. But you can scour the press release and pictures after the break.

Can’t say we’re too surprised about this. After many lesser leaks, and Lamborghini’s several-month-long, piece-by-piece Aventador reveal, the first uncovered Aventador picture comes to us by the way of Web leak.
The picture is a scanned magazine pictorial from Evo Magazine Croatia and gives a nice look at the front end and roof of the newest Lamborghini. Unfortunately, there’s only one leaked shot so far, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more leaks–if not an official Lamborghini reveal–within the next day or two.
Until then, we have this brilliant, red front end to stare longingly at. [via WCF]

Got two minutes? Put them to good use by seeing some of the sweetest footage yet of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Yeah, it’s still in camo, but you’ll get a good look at Lambo’s all-new flagship from just about every angle–including some footage from inside the cabin. Plus you’ll get to hear that sweet 691-hp V12 purr and purr.
The video was originally leaked by Dutch website Autogespot and appears to be official Lambo footage. Wherever it’s from, it’s worth watching. First the jump, then the play button. [via WCF]

We’ve been taking it for granted that the Murcielago-replacing Aventador/Jota was on schedule for a Geneva Motor Show debut. But the fact was, Lamborghini hadn’t confirmed it. Until today. Lambo made official what we already knew: the world will have a new Bull flagship in early March.
In addition to the rather anticlimactic confirmation, Lamborghini detailed the suspension behind the Aventador. The new car will get an F1-inspired pushrod spring and damper system designed to deliver tighter handling and increased comfort. The shocks will have hydraulic lifters that enable the driver to prop the front bumper up by about 4 centimeters at the push of a button.
The new suspension set-up will deliver absorption for a car motivated by an all-new, 690-hp 6.5-liter V12 engine, which Lamborghini detailed back in the fall.

There have been a lot of murmurs about a Lamborghini sedan of late. Lamborghini is clearly looking to expand and CEO Stephan Winkelmann thinks a sedan is the way to do it.
One of the factors that is influencing the sedan’s fate is an obvious one: money. And one of the ways that Lamborghini could make the sedan cost-effective is by sharing a platform. Sure, Lamborghini’s stable is limited, but Volkswagen is much broader.

Lambo chief Stephan Winkelmann has already indicated to the media that the Bull is considering offering a very exclusive production of the Sesto Elemento concept. Reports today suggest that Lamborghini will stick to its M.O. and develop a limited edition supercar for its 50th anniversary, which will be in 2013. And speculation says that the production Sesto and 50th Anniversary car may be one and the same.

German tuner Hamann has the perfect gift for the discerning (or not so discerning, depending on how you look at it) Lamborghini fan: the tuned up Gallardo LP560-4 that it calls the Victory II. The new tune adds a couple of horses–20 to be exact–and gets a more aggressive look thanks to a new body kit. It also added 20-inch Edition Race rims and a more defined exhaust note via a new sports muffler. Inside, there’s a 14-piece carbon set that includes the steering wheel and door handles.
I’m not usually a fan of Hamann’s work, but I actually kind of like the red-and-black theme that they’ve decked this Lambo out in. An extra 2 mph (204 mph top speed) is always a bonus, too. [via WCF]
