Pontiac Firebreather 2 CDC Pontiac Firebreather Trans Am Kit Now Available

Way back in the frosty days of February, we saw a roughly camoed Firebird-kitted Camaro that was identified by the name “FireBreather.” We knew then that the kit was made by Classic Design Concepts for a movie from Exxodus Pictures, but we didn’t know it was going to be on sale.

Well, now we do. And so do you. The Firebreather is being offered in a limited edition, 50-model release for a cost of $60,000. Now that the Chevy Camaro is back, expect to see more and more Trans Am packages aimed at transforming the new Camaro into the Pontiac icon. It’s speculated that the kit above belongs to Gearhead Performance or ASC. It was snapped outside the shop by a GMInsideNews forum member and shared for us all to enjoy.

It’s difficult to make out all the modifications under the zebra camo and cover on back, but it’s clear that the Pontiac-Chevy crossover gets a little extra Pontiac DNA in its eyes and nose. The protruded hood also indicates an engine upgrade.

If this one doesn’t cut it, check out the option that Lingenfelter designed. [ via Jalopnik]
