Shelby has debuted its 2011 GT350 Mustang at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The new Shelby, which is just in concept form at the moment, takes the all-new 5.0-liter Mustang GT and dumps a ton of performance upgrades on it to make it even more enviable. It also celebrates the 45th anniversary of the original GT350.

Starting with the engine, Shelby adds a Ford Racing supercharger, jumping output to around 500 horses. Helping to harness sheer power into a nimble ride, Shelby adds Ford Racing suspension, Baer racing brakes in front and back, Borla exhaust and 19-inch Crager wheels wrapped up in Goodyears.

Exterior modifications include new front fascia, front splitter, functional hood and side rocker scoops, and updated rear fascia with center exhaust. The paint scheme you’re staring at is White with Guardsman Blue racing stripes and is the only color being offered.

The base price for the package is $33, 995. Given that that’s only about $3,500 more than the GT’s base, you know something’s missing–which is the car. You’ll have to supply your own, which will run you another $30,495. Buyers can ship their Mustangs directly to Shelby or take them in themselves. [via AutoBlog]
