Shelby Supercars Teases Ultimate Aero TT II

Shelby supercars new Ultimate Aero actually debuted a few weeks ago, if you were lucky enough to attend the company’s private event in Seattle. At least we assume so. That’s what the company had planned, but of course, none of those guests are really talking, and SSC didn’t allow any picture-taking at the event so the rest of us don’t know much of anything. Luckily, we only have a few more weeks before we get a more complete look.
SSC launched a teaser site this week, which provides virtually no information whatsoever. However, the “The Next Generation is Coming Soon…” and “September 2010″ indicate that the world will get a full look at the next-gen Aero in the coming weeks.
And just in case you thought SSC was content with its 256-mph #2 spot in the record books, this little line should tell you that they’re not: “Because Life Begins at 250.”
The new Aero will have some heavy-handed competition from Bugatti and Koenigsegg. [via egmCarTech]

I was the one co-hosting and organizing the event in Seattle for SSC. We postponed that event because of some security issues that couldn't be resolved before the date, and combined with a tight travel schedule we thought it best to just delay. I did attend the private event in Monterey. Another event will happen in the Seattle area sometime in September, assuming we can get the logistics pinned down.
We're an informal group of exotic owners in the Seattle area that pull together these events for the local car community. We also host Exotics at Redmond Town Center.
