Rolls Royce to Expand Ghost Line

The subtle but striking Rolls Royce Ghost stirred some water back in Frankfurt. New reports indicate that the Ghost has legs well beyond the sedan version. According to Autocar, Rolls Royce plans to develop coupe, convertible and long-wheelbase versions of the Ghost over the next few years. It will present the new variations as experimental concepts aimed at gauging public opinion. Though the new models will rise from the Ghost platform, they may drop the “Ghost” from their names.
Back in November, reports surfaced that a hybrid version of the Ghost is also in the works.
Prospective buyers of the new Ghosts are not expected to interfere with Phantom sales, as customers of the current Ghost sedan have completely different profiles than Phantom buyers. [via Autocar]
