Revenge Designs Shows New Verde Supercar in Detroit

All decked out in neon green and ready to hit market later this year, the Verde supercar is the latest creation by Revenge Designs, a small, American company. The not-to-be-ignored new supercar will feature two powertrains: a gas version, which will include either a 605hp Roush-sourced Ford V8 or a supercharged Corvette ZR1 LS9, and a hybrid V8 called the HP2ge. The hybrid version reportedly delivers 110 mpg while still putting out 400 horses and 500 lb-ft of torque.

So what’s all that mean on the road? The Verde will offer a sub-five 0 to 60 time and top speed around 200 mph.

Revenge will offer the car for $190,000 and eventually hopes to export it to other markets. [via Motor Authority]
