Renault Zoe Electric Concept Hitting the Market in 2012
By Chris WeissRenault has announced plans to bring its Zoe Zero Emissions Concept to market in 2012. The innovative electric features a user-swappable battery that can be changed out in just three minutes. As far as charging, four to eight hours are needed to fully juice up, but a quick 20 minutes will buy you enough power to take a trip to the local grocery store. After the electric aspect, things take a turn downhill, at least for many car buyers. Renault teamed up with cosmetics giant L’Oreal to inject a “spa” theme into the vehicle. Touches include an air conditioning unit that hydrates skin and an electric system that “diffuses essential oils” helping the driver and passengers to energize or relax depending on the time of day. At least it’s more natural than a Botox injection. [via WCF]
