Long rumored, the 2010 Lotus Exige Cup 260 is getting closer and closer to a release date. Inspired from its bigger brother, the Lotus Exige GT3 race car, the new Cup 260 is going to be available for the common man with a lightweight body frame that extensively uses carbon fibre. Under the hood there’s a 256hp engine that sends it from naught to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds. Perfect for the track, the new race-ready Lotus Exige Cup 260 also features motorsport lightweight wheels, Ohlins 2-way adjustable dampers and a 30-percent stiffer rear chassis thanks to a structural shear panel and rear diffuser.
