2011 Ford Mustang V 6 Powerful But Efficient: 2011 Mustang V6 Offers 300 HP, 31 MPG

The EPA testing figures of the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 are in, and the car gets 31 mpg highway (19 mpg city). Ford didn’t waste any time in declaring the car the first car to combine 300 horses and 30 mpg figures. The Blue Oval also declared it the most efficient Mustang ever. Not a bad boost for Mustang lovers.

The car earns the impressive duality with a 305-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. The available manual transmission cuts efficiency by 1 mpg.

So now there’s a little less guilt attached to driving a ‘Stang, not that most Mustang drivers are feeling all that guilty anyway. [via Car and Driver]
