Peak At the Next Dodge Charger
By Chris WeissWhile Chrysler has been busy bearing its soul today, it isn’t pulling the cover off of all its plans. Case in point: the new Dodge Charger. While Dodge chief Ralph Gilles made some general promises on the new Charger, including “class-leading” interior, best-in-class performance and efficiency, and redesigned styling, Dodge stopped short of showing a full picture of the new car and instead whet our appetites with the modest, out-of-focus preview pictured above. From what we can tell, the next-gen Charger should be a curvaceous, sporty hunk of sedan. Speculation is that the new Charger could seat a Pentastar V-6 and/or Fiat’s Multair and turbocharging under the hood. It’s expected to be launched late next year as a 2011 model. Just so long as we don't end up with another "Chrysler TC by Maserati" I think it'll be okay.
