2011 dodge charger preview Peak At the Next Dodge Charger

While Chrysler has been busy bearing its soul today, it isn’t pulling the cover off of all its plans. Case in point: the new Dodge Charger. While Dodge chief Ralph Gilles made some general promises on the new Charger, including “class-leading” interior, best-in-class performance and efficiency, and redesigned styling, Dodge stopped short of showing a full picture of the new car and instead whet our appetites with the modest, out-of-focus preview pictured above. From what we can tell, the next-gen Charger should be a curvaceous, sporty hunk of sedan. Speculation is that the new Charger could seat a Pentastar V-6 and/or Fiat’s Multair and turbocharging under the hood. It’s expected to be launched late next year as a 2011 model. Just so long as we don't end up with another "Chrysler TC by Maserati" I think it'll be okay.
