Pagani Zonda R Cleans Up at the ‘Ring With a 6:48

The Pagani Zonda R uber-car has been doing some unofficial laps around Nurburgring and has clocked a record-breaking 6:47 time which knocks the 6:48 recorded by the Radical SR8 LM right off the top o’ the heap. It also steals the spotlight from the Ferrari GTO, which recently recorded a 6:58 time. It’s unofficial, of course, but for those of us who follow such feats it’s impressive nonetheless.
The Zonda R is capable of 233 mph after a 0 to 62 of 3 seconds. It is powered by a 739hp 6.0-liter Mercedes V12.
