Owner of the Soggy 2006 Bugatti Veyron Identified
By Chris WeissIn case you missed it, on Wednesday afternoon, some fool drove his beautiful 2006 Bugatti Veyron EB off a La Marque, Texas road and into a salty marsh. The Veyron landed in about three feet of water and the man escaped unharmed.
The fool in question is Andy House, a 34-year-old car restorer that works on wrecked luxury cars for resale. Sounds like he just got some new work.
House was driving in the area to look at real estate, perhaps trying to impress agents with the million-dollar masterpiece. Impressive, indeed.
House blames a surprise encounter with a pelican for causing the accident, though reports mention that he was trying to pick up his dropped cell phone when it happened. Next time, throw the cell phone to the curb, save the Bugatti.

yeah fishy that he's in the restoration business, but if it was outed as intentional, wouldn't the insurance be voided sticking this guy with a big loss?
