Only 150 Lexus LFAs to Be Sold in U.S.
The 2011 Lexus LFA is understandably one of the most lusted-after cars of the year. And if you’re in the position to satisfy that lust, you’d better be prepared to act. Only 150 of the 500 Lexus LFAs scheduled for production will be sold in the U.S. through the leasing program Lexus mentioned several days ago. Head north of the border and you’ll only find a market of 10 models.
The LFA will go on sale on January 11 and Lexus already started taking purchase applications last month. Production will start next month, with 20 cars per month rolling off of assembly lines. Each LFA will delegate full customization authority to its future owner and no car will be built until the order is placed. Starting price is set at $375,000. [via Motor Authority]
