Odd, Little Aston Martin Cygnet To Be Offered Strictly to Aston Owners

Yes, it’s a portly, little nugget that only a parent could love. Word is that Aston Martin will only be offering the Cygnet to those that already own Astons. We don’t really speak yacht, but Aston chief Ulrich Bez was quoted in the NY Times as stating: “This concept is akin to an exclusive tender for a luxury yacht.” Kind of odd to be making yacht comparisons when talking about the Cygnet, but whatever works.
Those Aston owners can expect to have their worlds opened up to not only questionable styling but also to lackluster performance in the form of a 97hp Toyota iQ engine that’ll spin the way to a 105 mph top speed.
Aston will offer 2,000 Cygnets, each costing between 20,000 and 30,000 pounds. [via WCF]
