Not Happy With Your GM? Return it Within 60 Days.

GM has announced that it will be offering a new 60-day money-back guarantee–if customers aren’t satisfied with their GM vehicle, they can return it within the 60-day timeframe and get a full refund. The “Satisfaction Guarantee” extends to eligible buyers of 2009 and 2010 Buicks, Chevies, GMCs and Cadillacs, but excludes medium-duty trucks. GM vice chairman of Marketing and Communications Bob Lutz said of the offer: “We think if consumers give us a fair chance and look at the facts on the things that matter most to them, like design, fuel economy, warranty and safety, our vehicles are the best choices – that’s what makes an offer like this possible.” Of course, you probably won’t experience any of the major downfalls of GM vehicles within 60 days–you’ll have to wait a year or two for that–but this does seem to be a good opportunity to try before you buy. We’ll see how it works out for GM. [via egm CarTech]
