Nissan Details Reservation Program For Leaf EV

Isn’t it about time to stop reading about greener auto tech and start parking it in your driveway? Nissan will be providing just that opportunity when it opens up the books to reservations for its Leaf electric vehicle in a couple of months.
Nissan will announce pricing details within a late-March/early-April timeframe and will begin taking reservations shortly thereafter. Those seeking to reserve will need to put a little money where their mouths are in the form of a fully refundable $100 deposit. Nissan will take official orders starting in August.
The Leaf will be sold as a single unit with car and lithium-ion battery pack in the U.S. It will be rolled out gradually in individual markets beginning as early as December. You can get more info at NissanUSA.com. [via Inside Line]
