New Top-End Lamborghini Dubbed “Urus” Rumored In the Works
The Lamborghini Jota is still deep in the works, and already we have a rumor of an even higher-end Lambo that will build upon the Jota platfom. Accoring to a report in Cars UK, which sources someone close to the raging bull, Lamborghini is working on a new end-all sports coupe called the Urus.
The supercar will use a modified Jota chassis that overdoses on carbon fiber to slash as much weight as possible. The Urus will complement the light, carbon fiber build with an 800-hp version of the Jota V12, putting the car in the league with elites like the Bugatti Veyron, with an expected sub-three 0 to 60 sprint. It’s expected that the Urus won’t get official until 2011 and won’t hit highways until a year after that. [Cars UK via Auto Blog]
