New Ferrari Prototype Gets Filmed in Maranello

Earlier this year, Ferrari announced a host of upcoming new cars. And now we have some video of one of those models. The swollen-jowelled prototype was recently seen strutting its stuff not too far outside of Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters. The short, 8-second clip below captures but a fleeting look at the new car, but it recreates the rumble of the engine to a T.
It’s not entirely clear which upcoming Ferrari this prototype previews, but according to Ferrari’s plans, a new 612 Scaglietti is due out for next year. This prototype shows headlights of the 458 Italia mixed with some rear elements of the 599 Fiorano, so it’s anyone’s guess exactly what it is. [via AutoBlog]
