New BMW Ad Features Vision EfficientDynamics Concept

The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept is one of the most striking we’ve seen in years, so we’re glad to see it wherever we can. The Frankfurt concept recently made a star appearance in BMW’s ‘Joy’ ad campaign.
The new spot conveys how Vision EfficientDynamics design is integrated into existing vehicle’s in the BMW stock. Frankly, however, BMW’s actual cars just don’t hold our attention the way its concept does.
The Vision EfficientDynamics concept features two electric motors and a 163 hp 3-cylinder turbodiesel worth a combined 356 hp and 590 lb-ft. Word is that the concept will make its way into production in 2013, though it’ll undoubtedly be toned down significantly. [via egmCarTech]
