We nearly missed Confederate Motorcycles at the New York Auto Show, but once we found it, we were more than a little thankful we did. The first Confederate chopper we came across was the P120 Fighter Combat Edition, and boy does it pack a lot to fight asphalt with.

The P120 gets started with a 160 hp radial twin engine that delivers 135 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel. That engine sits underneath an aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum monocoque backbone. Up front, the Fighter features double wishbone suspension crafted from the same aircraft-grade aluminum and connected to aerodynamic, dual, lightweight, tubular wing blades. Braking comes by way of Brembo high-output 4-piston carbon/ceramic/ aluminum-matrix lightweight discs and the bike sits atop two carbon fiber wheels (19 x 3″ up front 18 x 8 ” in back) wrapped in Pirelli rubber spread across a 64-inch wheelbase.

The limited-edition P120 Fighter will be produced to the tune of 50 examples. Get a closer look at this mean machine in the gallery below.
