You can rank cars MSRP’s pretty easily on the Internet or at the dealership, but insurance costs are something that you won’t likely know until you stumble on down to your friendly neighborhood insurance company and get an estimate or policy. Helping you to pick the good eggs from the bad eggs, Insure.com has offered two extensive lists. One covers the most expensive cars to insure and one covers the least.

The lists aren’t too surprising, with powerful sports and luxury cars topping the list for most expensive to insure and more practical minivans and SUVs capturing the least expensive spots. Still, the figures are helpful for anyone looking for an idea of what insurance will cost.
