MINI to Stop at Six Models

According to a story on Autocar, Mini will expand its line to six different models and will stop there for the time being. The current expansion will end with the Countryman, Coupe and Roadster, which will all hit roads later this year (in the U.K.).
Mini’s U.K. general manager Jochen Goller was quoted as stating that Mini will continue to explore its options with new concepts, but has no concrete plans for future models past the six already announced.
The aforementioned models will join the Cooper, Convertible and Clubman in Mini’s line. The Mini Countryman was detailed earlier this week and will come to the U.S. early next year. [Autocar via egmCarTech]
