Mini Beachcomber Concept Coming to Detroit

Just what the world needed–a notoriously tiny, low car opened up and primed for a little off-roadin’. Sounds like a class action lawsuit in the waiting.
Luckily for the world of humans and wildlife, the Mini Beachcomber is just a concept. At that, it’s not a terrible look–kind of like a Jeep Wrangler forced through the compactor. The Mini loses the doors and roof while offering four seats of interior, the ALL4 all-wheel drive system and “cutting-edge” suspension.
I can’t imagine anyone actually driving one of these off-road, but it’s not a bad concept. [via egmCarTech]
