The Maserati GranTurismo Convertible will come to the U.S. in late spring. When it does, the convertible will have a base price of $140,200, which includes destination charge, gas guzzler tax and dealer prep charge. The top-end, fully-loaded GranTurismo will cost around $155,000. North American Maserati dealers are now accepting preorders for the car.

According to Inside Line, Maserati expects to offer about 700 of the convertible models in the U.S. during the first year.

The GranTurismo features a 4.7-liter V8 worth 433 hp paired with a six-speed adaptive automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Options include dual-color interior ($7,900), colored brake calipers ($750) and one-of-a-kind exterior paint color (case-by-case pricing). [via Inside Line]
