LOMA’s Jet-Inspired Corvette C6 Coming to Essen
Drawing inspiration from the U.S. Air Force One Boeing 747 might be a bit heavy for a vehicle outside of a video game. However, you certainly can’t deny that the LOMA Performance Corvette C6.BlackforceOne doesn’t inspire a second or third glance.
From here on out we’re referring to this bad boy as the LOMA because that name just caused a case of carpal tunnel. The LOMA gets 10 centimeters of added width on each side of the Corvette courtesy of carbon fiber wheel arch extensions and side skirts. Other carbon add-ons include the front lip spoiler and rear diffuser with built-in LED back-ups.
Of course any muscle car tune that pays homage to an aircraft is going to have to pack something special under the hood. Not to fall short of expectations, LOMA has installed a bi-turbo engine conversion and carefully tuned the transmission to handle the upgraded power. The result can be seen on a 3.4-second 0 to 62 and top speed of 205 mph.
Sticking the theme out till the end, color options include Stealth matt black, Eurofighter matt grey and White Storm matt white. Only 25 will be built and LOMA will debut the package at Essen. [via WCF]
