Lamborgini Concept ‘Sesto Elemento’ Leaks Out

Well, I expected to be covering Lamborghini’s last teaser picture a little later today, but lo and behold, the entire concept has leaked out a day ahead of Paris. Serves Lambo right for those brutally unrevealing teasers.
This crinkle cut beauty is the concept car that all the Lambo fuss has been about lately. Called the Sesto Elemento or Sixth Element, the concept reportedly uses head-to-toe carbon fiber design for an extreme weight shaving down to 2,200 lbs. For reference, current Lamborghinis rarely and barely break 3,000 lbs.
With a V10 engine, the Elemento is said to be capable of a 2.5-second 0-to-62 mph (that’s Veyron territory) and a top speed around 218 mph. We knew whatever Lamborghini showed at Paris was going to be good, but this one is proving even better than we expected. Another day and we should be seeing a lot more of it. [via Auto Guide]
