Lamborghini Minotauro Concept
Apr 13, 2010 - By Chris Weiss
Give an automotive design student some supplies and some time and you’ll have a super-distinctive new auto concept on your hands. This here is the Lamborghini Minotauro brought to us by Andrei Avarvarii, a graduate student at Milan’s Scuola Politecnica di Design.
In addition to big looks, the Minotauro features an eco-friendly design that uses four electric motors with a 30/70 front-to-rear power split. A Li-Tec battery and KERS system mounted in front provide the juice.
In a bold departure from traditional Lamborghinis, the designer uses the space left by the absence of a V12 engine for a third passenger in back. Another interesting feature, the car uses a GPS system to let drivers record and upload their track runs to computer for sharing and competition, much the way you can do with fitness monitors.

Unfortunately, it’s just a design. Don’t expect to see anything resembling it.
