Ken Block’s Subaru WRX STI Sled

Subaru STI snow Ken Blocks Subaru WRX STI Sled

This piece of automotive ingenuity courtesy of DC guru Ken Block is a Subaru WRX STI turned snow-scarfing machine of ominous beauty. The 400-hp backcountry general has been stripped down and fitted with a set of Mattrax all-terrain trax. If it’s frozen and moist, we’re pretty sure this machine will tear through it like a 300 pounder’s stumpy digits in cake frosting. You probably didn’t have to ask, but just in case: it’s currently trading in powder fields for desert at a SEMA display in Vegas.  Jump to the video after the break, and watch it make a few traditional snowmobilers and skiers soil their Chilys as it rips through hardpack and untracked powder.
