Honda Recalls Nearly 650,000 Vehicles
By Chris Weiss
Looks like Toyota isn’t the only Japanese automaker issuing an early-2010 recall. Honda issued a voluntary recall of 646,000 vehicles today due to a faulty switch. The faulty master switch can cause water to slip into the power window switch, potentially causing a fire. The issue reportedly caused the death of a child in a car fire last year. Three cases of car fire were reported in the U.S. and South Africa.
Vehicles affected include Fit/Jazz and City models. 140,000 of the recalled vehicles are in the United States. [via MSNBC and Yahoo]
