Honda CR-Z Brochure Leaks
By Chris WeissThe Honda CR-Z concept has been busy touring the auto show circuit on its way toward production as a 2011 model. Thanks to some diehards over at Temple of VTEC, who got their hands on a leaked brochure for the upcoming hybrid hatchback, we now have a better idea of what it will look like in production attire and how it will perform on road.
The CR-Z’s 1.5-liter four cylinder will put out 114 horsepower, while the electric motor will kick in an extra 14. Torque-wise the engine will offer up 107 lb-ft, with another 57 lb-ft coming courtesy of the Integrated Motor Assist system. Not surprisingly, those numbers won’t pump any staggering performance out of the CR-Z–0 to 62 will take a leisurely 9.7 seconds.
The CR-Z looks like a smoother, cleaned up version of the concept and dimensions are quite comparable.
Still looking forward to this one. [Temple of VTEC via AutoBlog]
