High-Priced Aston Martin One-77 Breaks 200 at the ‘Ring
By Chris WeissWe really didn’t need another reason to covet the upcoming One-77 supercar from Aston Martin, but we got one anyway. While testing at Nurburgring, the $2 million auto proved it isn’t just a pretty face and brought home the impressive speed of 220.007 mph. The 220 might be the impressive part, but we love the “double-0″ 7 on the end.
The ultra-exclusive One-77 features a bespoke 7.3-liter V12 and carbon fiber chassis. It’s being positioned as the Aston to end all Astons and only 77 numbered examples will be made available to buyers. Shipments are expected to commence in mid-2010.
For now, Aston Martin will continue with testing, and we look forward to hearing follow-up word from the track. [via Motor Authority]

220.007 my arse. Love the car, love the brand, believe it can go faster than 220, but the more their marketing department spın everythıng wıth a reference to james bond, the more jaded i become. being cool is about not looking like you're trying too hard…….and they're trying hard.
