Hennessey Venom GT Teased in New Video

For lovers of all things auto, the Hennessey Venom GT is like that birthday gift you found in your parent’s closet as a kid. You knew it was there. You couldn’t stop thinking about it. But you weren’t getting your eyes or hands on it soon enough. In the case of the Venom GT, your parent is making matters worse by teasing you with glimpses.
The Lotus-based Hennessey Venom GT features a V8 engine that Hennessey will offer in 725 hp, 1,000 hp and 1,200 hp varieties, based on customers’ demands. You know a car is gonna’ be good when 725 hp is the runt of the family, and the Venom GT refuses to disappoint. Hennessey promises ridiculous performance of 2.4 seconds to 60 mph and a 272 mph top speed.
