Hennessy 2010 HPE700 LS9 Camaro Boasts Up to 1,000 HP
By Chris WeissHennessey has unveiled the 2010 HPE700 LS9, which is based on the six-speed manual Chevy Camaro SS. The new Camaro will be on display at SEMA. The muscled-out Camaro features a 725-hp LS9 6.2L supercharged engine with intercooler standard, but Hennessey offers upgrades of an 825-hp twin turbo or 1,000-hp twin turbo. Even without the boost up to twin turbo, the HPE700 LS9 offers impressive figures– 741 lb-ft of torque, 3.5-second 0 to 60 and 11.3-second quarter mile. Outside, the Camaro gets Cam-Aero body components including front spoiler, rear diffuser and side rocker panels, among other improvements. Only 24 examples will be offered in colors ranging from Aqua Blue Metallic to Inferno Orange Metallic. [via egmCarTech]
