Great Ass! Volkswagen Upgrades Golf With LED Tail lights

Ordinarily a new set of tail lights wouldn’t warrant much attention, but in the case of the new LED lights being offered by VW we think it does. The lights will be standard on Golf R and optional on Golf GTI and GTD models (350 Euros). Each side of the rear will be graced with a distinctive lamp that features two curved right angles with center dots.
Volkswagen explains: “LED rear lights are more than just a clear signal of a sporty Golf. They are practically maintenance-free and impressively fast. Their response time to brake activation is 0.2 second faster than that of conventional incandescent lights. This difference can save lives: at a speed of 100 km/h it is equivalent to 5.6 meters braking distance.”
