Good Riddance: Last PT Cruiser Rolls Off The Line

The streets of America have officially gotten a tad less kitsch. At least they will when current Chrysler PT Cruisers start finding their way to the junkyard. Today, the last PT Cruiser rolled off of assembly lines. Many will likely be saddened by this loss, but I couldn’t be happier–what a faux-retro pile of played out junk. I’ll be glad to see it go and gladder yet when the roads are officially clean of its round, tubby presence. I just hope Chrysler doesn’t have any plans for a PT Cruiser revival to join the rumored next-gen Dodge Viper in the future. So far, there are no reported or rumored plans of that happening–second best news of the day. [via Carscoop]
