Chevy Cruze1 GM Pushes Back Production on Chevy Cruze

Much to the chagrin of those waiting for GM to rise up from the depths and drop its next generation of more efficient rides, production on the Chevy Cruze has been delayed by three months. According to The Detroit News, GM has changed the start of production on the Cruze from next April to July. Assembly of the Cruze, a car which is supposed to crank efficiency up to 40 mpg, will take place at GM’s plant in Lordstown, Ohio. On the plus side, the report indicates that the delay will enable GM to get every Cruze model ready for consumers at once, rather than staggering the release of different versions. [via AutoBlog]
