Future Looking Bright for Jaguar C-X75
By Chris Weiss
Not too long after Jaguar introduced its C-X75 supercar concept in Paris, reports indicated that the company was going to do a feasible study, with potential production in mind. While no final decision has been made, the latest reports indicate strong support within the ranks of the company.
Ian Callum, Jaguar’s chief designer, told Autocar: “I happen to think Jaguar needs a car like this. Everything about it is new yet it recalls one of our greatest designs of all time, the XJ13.”
Land Rover Jaguar chief Carl-Peter Forster was a little more conservative in his words, but seemed equally enthused: “We would love to do it, but it will take up a lot of resources. We have not come to a conclusion yet.”
Things seem to be going swimmingly for the C-X75. Let’s just hope they keep up that way until it rolls off production lines…[via Autocar]
