Ford to Offer Factory-Installed HD Radio

Adding to a growing list of upcoming technological improvements in its vehicles, Ford is planning on offering HD Radio in select models beginning next year. The new radio will unlock access to digital broadcasts that offer crisper, higher quality audio. It will also offer artist, song and other information on screen.
Ford’s new HD Radio offering will include iTunes tagging–a Tag button on the Sync system will allow drivers to quickly save a song that is playing for later purchase. Up to 100 individual songs can be saved on the system, and songs can be downloaded as tagged songs onto an iPod or iPhone. [via Motor Authority]
