First Pic of the Upcoming Alfa Romeo Hatchback

Though its name hasn’t been made official, the new Alfa Romeo hatchback pictured here will replace the 147 and make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The compact, sporty five-door will be based on Fiat’s C-Evo platform, which will eventually infiltrate Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. A variety of turbocharged engine options will be available including two diesels and two petrols ranging between 105 and 170 hp. The hatch will go on sale in Europe next spring and a sportier version featuring a 1.7-liter turbocharged petrol four cylinder good for 235 hp will follow sometime thereafter. [via Carscoop]
