By Chris Weiss
In an effort to increase cut pollution, Mercedes is reportedly preparing to introduce its first four-cylinder S-Class, the S 250 CDI BlueEfficiency. The car is expected at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The BlueEfficiency will cut emissions down to 155 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The car will feature the same 2.1-liter diesel that is found in the C-Class and E-Class and will get up to 224 hp, only 11 hp less than the V6 CDI-toting 350 S. It is expected to get around 35 mpg. More details will likely be released as Frankfurt nears. [via World Car Fans]
