Fiat 500 On Its Way to North America
Nov 04, 2009 - By Chris WeissAs expected, Chrysler announced today that the Fiat 500 is on its way over the pond. The distinct, little subcompact will feature a 1.4-liter Multiair engine and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2010. A turbo version will join it here a year later, but there’s no word if the 500C convertible will make it to the States. To sell the car, select, metro-area Chrysler dealers will set-up salons within their showrooms dedicated to the Fiat. While the 500 is far from the most enviable vehicle in Fiat Group’s stables, it should help to provide Chrysler with the infusion of fresh blood it needs to rebound into the future. [via egmCarTech]

Finally!!! I have been waiting for this little monster to be available here in the States! My mother had one when I was….mmmm… 5! – about 40 years ago — and this was in Italy, of course!
Ciao a tutti, e speriamo che le vendite vadano alla grande, cosi' anche la Chrysler si tira un po' su — qui i lavoratori ne hanno veramente bisogno!
