Fiat 500 Confirmed For U.S. Sale By End Of The Year
By Chris Weiss
In a speech in Chicago, Dodge Car Brand chief Ralph Gilles confirmed that the Fiat 500 will reach the U.S. market by the end of 2010. The car was previously expected to get pushed back to 2011 in making the transition overseas, but was originally announced as a 2010 release.
Fiat’s round, tiny subcompact will feature a 1.4-liter Multiair and turbo options. Chrysler announced that the Fiat 500 would earn a place in North America back in November. It will begin building the car at a Mexican plant later this year. [via Jalopnik]

I've been waiting a LONG time fo rthis one. I'm actually in Europe (France) right now and I see them everywhere. CArs either get better looking the longer they are around or more annoying. I was thinking to get the iQ when it arrives, but the more I look at it the uglier it gets. The 500 is the opposite — the more you see it the more you like it — BRING IT ON!
