Ferrari Kit for Toyota MR2: Tempting….But Nooooo
By Chris Weiss
Want a Ferrari without paying hundreds of thousands of dollars? Of course, who doesn’t. Since wealthy donors to the middle-class Ferrari lovers charity are few and far between, this replica kit is available for the much more obtainable Toyota MR2.
Replace the MR2′s hideous bubble lights with a 360-inspired front end and drive around town as the most obvious fraud ever, because this midget Ferrari isn’t going to fool a soul. While the second-generation MR2 had clear Ferrari inspiration, the latest generation simply doesn’t look the part. Even grandmothers that never drove a car in their life could sniff out the stench of this ridiculous fraud during cold season.
But if you want to pay homage to Ferrari by covering your MR2 from bumper to tailpipe in Ferrari makeup, this one is available at eBay for around 2 grand. Hit the jump for more angles. [via Jalopnik]

Remove the badging and I'd bet $100 people would go 'Holy crap! That's cool'. The badging makes it tacky
